The EuroSapienza Research Centre has been founded in 2001 to continue the scientific and didactic activities of the Sapienza University's European School, founded in 1960. Presently, about 50 professors and researchers are members of EuroSapienza.

The EuroSapienza Research Centre:

  • promotes research on European issues and participates in European and international thematic poles of exellence;
  • promotes and manages European research programmes;
  • organises meetings, seminars, round tables, and study groups on European issues;
  • shares the results of its research with national, European and international bodies and individuals;
  • is editor of scientific journals and proceedings on European issues;
  • promotes and supports advanced and specialised didactic and formation activities.

On June 14, 2010, in the European Documentation Centre "Altiero Spinelli", Faculty of Economics of Sapienza University of Rome, the EuroSapienza Reflection and Research Group on European Integration (ERReGEI) has been established.

On 22 July 2010, EuroSapienza has signed a collaboration agreement with the Italian Node of The Millennium Project (World Federation of UN Associations).
