International Master of First Level in European and International Policies and Crisis Management (EIPCM)

1. The Masters Degree
The International Masters programme on "European and International Policies and Crisis Management" (EIPCM) is a post-graduate university course having its roots in the experience of the EuroSapienza Centre in activities of international cooperation in areas of crisis, in particular in the Balkans and in transition countries.
It is a new and updated version of two former EuroSapienza Master programmes: the International second level Master in State management and Humanitarian affairs (carried out from 2001 to 2009) and the first level Master in International policies and crisis management (carried out from 2006 to 2009).
The EIPCM Master is international, of first level, in the English language, and designed to provide postgraduate professionals with specific qualification for prevention and operational management of crisis situations as well as security and human rights.
It also provides the students with the preparation needed to participate in projects of national and international cooperation, carried out by organisations and no-profit bodies, and to manage:
- regional, national and international institutions
- policies and good governance
- public, private and no-profit organisations.
2. Course description
The attendance of the EIPCM Master programme is obligatory. The Master lasts two semesters and is carried out with a multidisciplinary approach. It takes an advantage of the didactic and scientific competence of the Sapienza University of Rome, and of the participation of academic and diplomatic experts in European and international matters.
At the end of the Master course, the University of Rome “La Sapienza” confers the Masters Diploma of First Level in European and International Policies and Crisis Management.
The Master is International because it is carried out by Sapienza University of Rome in collaboration with
the following five academic institutions

Students registered in Rome may get the International title, as a double Master degree, issued by Sapienza and the guest University, if they attend courses and pass exams and/or carry out other curricular activities, for at least 18 credits, in one of the aforesaid five Universities. No extra fee is requested by the host University.
The Sapienza University of Rome will arrange for a personal accident insurance coverage of staff and participants in the Master as well as for the civil responsibility and possible damages that might occur to the equipments during the activities. |
